This proved to be a good thing (of course)!
It gave me new insight into some Web 2.0 things and it was a fun experience! I appreciate the time that it took for you guys to create it.
The only thing I was upset about was when we had to list our blog on the favorites one, but other than that - it was great!

Week 9 Finally
#20
We had pretty tight restrictions with this one and I had to pass it up. ThoughI do use youtube quite often on my personal time.
#21
I actually got a 404 page on the podcasting one and could not access the Discovery Exercise. But I did attend the podcasting workshop on the same day as the 23 Things workshop in Georgetown, so I think I've got it down.
#22
Well, when I tried searching through the catalog, nothing was coming up so I just searched their entire database - and my, did they have A LOT! I might try that "Peace on Earth, Good-Will to Dogs"eAudiobook!
#23
And now I'm off to do they survey. I must say, this was quite an adventure! :) Thanks CTLS

WEEK 8!
#18
I just finished the Zoho writer exercise and I must say that I prefer the Google Documents that is on my iGoogle page. It seems a bit more user friendly - but those "labels" tend to drive me a little nuts :)
#19
This is also tied in with #18 in that I choose the Google Docs and Spreadsheets from the Web 2.0 awards list. I find it wonderful that I can access any of my documents from any computer since Google is the one to save it. I've told many of our patrons that instead of using the regular Microsoft Word, they should type their reports in Google. It automatically saves everything and it will always be available to you. I loved it!!

Week 7

We at the Harker Heights Public Library have a wiki, so we are all very familiar with the ins and outs of using it. Here is our wiki link:

I'm trying to add my blog to the favorite library blogs one. Let's see how it goes!

Week 6
#13
Delicious is a really easy way to create bookmarks that I can access from any computer! It is a really neat idea - sort of like iGoogle's Notebook with it's bookmark accessories.
#14
Technorati was not to my taste. I much prefer google reader or blogger.com to read/go through blog posts. For the "Learning 2.0", many different results came up from the blog posts, the tags and in the Blog Directory...
#15
I read the part on tagging and social bookmarking since it went with what I was doing for this event. It was a quick insight guide to what I've been doing for week 6.

Week 5
#10
I found my boss Lisa Youngblood on gmail's IM and we chatted for about 10 seconds before some troubleshooting issues came up. It was a little difficult for us to find each other and then navigate through google's IM, but we did it in the end.
#11 & 12
We had restrictions with doing this so I was unable to complete this task - though I do have a personal account with facebook (so I know how to work it) and I have played games on the internet before.
